Play a lead role in ensuring that Coates equipment meets legislative compliance and internal equipment standards. The role will provide the Maintenance and Compliance Manager and the broader Coates team expert advice on technical, quality, and safety requirements related to plant and equipment.
You'll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Lead technical advice and support for Equipment Compliance, technical and quality issues to the broader Coates business.
- Lead resolution of Equipment Compliance, safety and quality issues with suppliers
- Participate in Standards Australia committees and other forums related to Equipment Compliance and safety
- Meet with internal and external stakeholders (Domestic and International) on quality, safety, and technical issues to improve process and problem solve.

What you'll bring to the role
- Engineering background - highly desirable!
- Tertiary Degree or Trade qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering related field - essential!
- Proven ability to analyse and understand Equipment Compliance requirements including WHS legislation
- Proven ability to assess, understand and resolve complex equipment quality and safety issues
- Strong people management and time management skills
- Knowledge of Aus electrical standards and regulations - highly desirable!
