Computer Network And System Engineer

Health Spring Australia owns one of the major health and nutrition brands in Australia.  The company is specialized in complementary medicines, health foods, milk powder products and cosmetics. We supply high-quality personalized nutritional care tailored to the needs of different customer groups. The company is looking for an experienced Computer Network and System Engineer to help design best-fit network/system solutions and take complete end-to-end implementation responsibility. The role will also have the responsibility for maintenance of our Network and hardware systems, and supporting infrastructure in line with an agreed framework and plan.

• Design and implementation of networks, virtual environments and server infrastructure

• Install, configure, administer, troubleshoot all corporate LAN\WAN environment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, video surveillance devices, and security appliances

• Configure, optimise and manage the Network and security equipment

• Record diagnosis and resolution of network faults, recommend to business of improvements required for existing network operations

• Monitor and perform hardware and software upgrades to network servers including operating systems and applications 

• Develop processes based on best practices for maintaining and administering network equipment

• Develop and maintain network maps and documentation for common processes and Systems

• providing network programming in support of specific business needs and requirements

• Enhance and modify the networks maintenance instructions

• Track, monitor, follow up, prioritize and escalate incidents in the SHA’s helpdesk system

Key requirements:           

• Bachelor degree or higher in information technology or highly related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in similar role.

• Proven superb ability to investigate, analyze, conceptualize and report. 

• Demonstrated outstanding ability to understand user needs, communicate effectively and think creatively.  

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• An ability to think laterally in approaching a problem

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Able to work autonomously, as well as a part of a team
