Position Overview An exciting opportunity has become available at SureCity Networks for an enthusiastic and passionate Computer Networks Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for configuration management and ensuring the operational readiness of network systems. You will work in environments with multiple operating systems and configurations, providing troubleshooting and fault-finding services for network problems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, develop, deploy, test, and optimize network and system services.
· Install, configure, and maintain servers and associated systems, ensuring smooth operation.
· Develop and maintain documentation for network devices, problem resolution, and updates.
· Analyse and evaluate network architecture and configuration, ensuring efficiency.
· Continuously monitor the network to detect and resolve potential issues promptly.
· Monitor network device activity and capacity to optimize performance and integrity.
· Assist users in accessing network resources and resolving related issues.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize impact on user productivity
Skills &Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of proven experience in the field.
· Minimum relevant Bachelor Degree.
· Good communication skills
· Proficiency in configuring and managing network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
· Ability to install, configure, and optimize Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortigate Cisco platforms to meet organizational requirements.
· Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networks, systems, and software applications efficiently.
· Competence in overseeing the deployment and maintenance of Switches, Wireless infrastructure, Firewalls and routers. Along with Network Monitoring systems on different server platforms.
· Ability to work unsupervised, in a team environment.
· Australian Drivers License
