What this opportunity involves: 

Melbourne Facilities Management are seeking an enthusiastic individual looking to join our team in the position of Concierge/Reception.

Are you friendly, customer-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional experiences? We have an exciting opportunity for a Concierge at 1 Queens Road in Melbourne.

As a Concierge, you will be the face of the building, responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome to all building occupants, visitors and contractors. Your primary goal will be to leave a lasting impression by delivering exceptional customer service and meetings clienteles needs promptly and efficiently.

An overview of the role:

  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring all customers and visitors feel valued and attended to.
  • Offer assistance and guidance according to customer requests.
  • Handle inquiries received by telephone or email with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate channels.
  • Coordinate visits from service providers, tradespeople and couriers.
  • Support to internal departments across MFM sites as required.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills; including an exceptional client focus and capacity to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Outstanding time management skills; including the ability to work accurately, with a high attention to detail while maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • A high degree of flexibility and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Immaculate presentation with strong attention to the finer details.
  • Responsible, reliable and professional attitude.
