We are a fast growing company with a progressive growth mandate throughout Australia and we need great people with skills to help us execute on this plan. As such, we need additional Concreters / Concrete Finishers to join our site teams ASAP.
About the role:
Reporting to our Hardscapes Project Management team, this role is focused on our footpath, kerbing and crossover delivery and site activity. You will be well supported by our Site Supervisors and Project Managers.
We are looking for a good work ethic and attitude above all, because we guarantee we will train you better than anyone else!
Day to day this role will see you:
- Commence the day at the Maddington depot
- Complete required vehicle inspections
- Liaising with site supervisors & project managers
- Set up formwork & jointing (lockjoint, canite) with fellow site crew members
- Pouring concrete footpaths and leveling off with rakes & screeds
- Cleaning kerbing & existing surfaces
- Closing up footpaths with pole tools (bullfloat, edgers, trowels & fresno, etc)
- Finish concrete with pole tools (trowels, edgers, brooms, pans, trowel machine, etc)
- Strip & clean formwork
- Wash the road & existing surfaces
- Load formwork on truck & return to Maddington depot
