The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager (Condition Monitoring), your role as a Condition Monitoring Technician will be a full-time position working for a Contract Site in the Bowen Basin region. Our clients are long-term ongoing contracts; they have a large variety of equipment on their sites. Accommodation on site camp with meals provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking Condition Monitoring vibration, oil/ grease sampling and thermography surveys and onsite assessment of machine condition.
- Undertake scheduled site equipment Condition Monitoring surveys and analysis.
- Carrying out sensor installation where required.
- Taking and submitting of oil/ grease sampling.
- Thermography scanning on Mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Upload SAP notifications and time confirmations.
- As the Condition Monitoring Technician on site, you will carry out routine vibration monitoring and analysis tasks effectively and accurately on critical rotating machinery in line with the company’s vision and values, in order to increase the availability, reliability and life of the plant.
The Successful Applicant Will Ideally have:
- ISO 18436-2, Level II Vibration Analysis Training and Certification. 2+ years analysis experience (Knowledge of MHM advantage)
- Thermography experience/ certification
- Practical/hands on mechanical experience and knowledge with oil/ grease sampling.
- Mining experience highly desirable.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Have safety as your number one priority.
