We are a four-star hotel located on Brisbane's Northside, searching for our next Conference & Events Superstar!
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for a range of different Conferences & Events from start to finish, as well as other daily administrative tasks. Issuing detailed BEO's to other department heads on a weekly basis, as well as processing group reservations, cancellations, and amendments to contracted bookings.
On event days, you will be the clients point of contact on-site for any AV or other assistance they may require ensuring a smooth and hassle-free event.
We are looking for:
- A highly motivated individual with great time management skills & organisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a similar role involving event coordination and/or sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Someone who enjoys building & maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- IVvy & GuestPoint experience would be highly regarded.
- Flexibility with working days/hours - some weekend work may be required from time to time.
- A positive attitude, creativity and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service!
