Royal on the Park hotel is a 4 ½ star independent property located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, and renowned for its warm atmosphere, professionalism and exceptional customer service.

Your focus will be on ensuring your clients’ needs are anticipated and met, and ensuring every interaction they have with our hotel is exceptional.
The role
Reporting to our Conference & Events Manager, your role will encompass:
- Handling incoming Conference & event enquiries and responses in the first instance
- Provide tailored event proposals (according to hotel standards) within a 24-hour period
- Responsibility for the growth of target markets within the events categories and all market segments
- Build and enhance client relationships via face-to-face appointments, and site inspections, and represent the hotel including attendance at external events as required by the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Generate reports for Financial Controller and General Manager on request
- Working in a team environment to achieve monthly KPIs and key targets
- Weekly and monthly reporting with a focus on new business opportunities and competitor analysis
To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:
- Previous experience within a hotel (desirable but not limited to)
- Flexibility of working hours
- Ability to build strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills is a necessity
- Previous experience using Opera PMS & Sales and Catering (desirable)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
