About us
Rydges Parramatta is a 151 room 4½ star hotel located just minutes from the Parramatta CBD. The hotel boasts 2 restaurants, 2 Bars and 15 conference spaces. Just across the road from Rosehill Racecourse, the venue hosts major events for race days including Golden Eagle, Golden Slipper and Girl's Day Out.
Responsibilities will include
- Quoting, Contracting & Coordinating Events from start to finish
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Selling our event spaces
- Developing and maintaining existing and new client relationships
- Effectively communicating event details and feedback across relevant hotel departments to ensure successful delivery and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with driving and championing the team to exceed the Hotel’s vision and targets
Ideally you will
- Be motivated and passionate about Sales
- Be able to negotiate and close the sale
- Have exceptional time management skills
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Be highly organised with attention to detail and posses the ability to multi task
- Be an exceptionally gifted communicator
