As part of our ongoing growth we are looking for the next Completion/Handover Take Over Manager superstar, building a team that will be responsible for the handover and takeover of Defence projects and operationalising them as part of the maintenance delivery team.

Having been shortlisted for the next Defence FM opportunity, we are expanding our team to support the bid phase and the ongoing delivery of works across the country.
This involves supporting the effective handover and takeover of multiple projects each year from construction works to maintenance teams.
As the leader of the newly established team, you will ensure that our team gets involved from design to handover of new fitouts and new builds across the country. This includes writing feasibility reports on asset replacements as part of the fitout planning, commissioning and maintainability reviews, attendance at various stages of the construction during commissioning, defects management and rectification prior to handover and a smooth transition to operations as well as managing the warranty period. The role will support the data capture of operations and maintenance plans, as-built drawings, BIM models, maintenance plans and asset data capture to ensure that the data is transferred in accordance with Defence requirements from construction to operations.
This new team will enable our client to challenge the status quo and deliver significantly improved services ultimately leading to a better and more sustainable outcome.
Given the nature of the role regular travel to various sites in the state and interstate travel to meet with the team is required.

Ideally you have experience in delivering similar works and want to challenge the status quo. This could be in the form of:
- Extensive experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry
- Hands on experience gained within a contractor environment in similar industries
- Happy to travel and drive around the state and get engaged with an eye for detail looking for opportunities
- Experience managing and mentoring a team that is spread throughout Australia
- Exceptional negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills
- A strong financial and commercial acumen is also a must, and will assist you in the accurate preparation of cost plans, as well as in identifying new project opportunities and ensuring a high success rate of team bids
- Ability to develop and deliver clear and concise reporting to the Sustain Executive Team and to our Client
- Advanced computer literacy including Excel and Word
- Ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing team
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Possess a strong work ethic, good organisational skills and can meet strict deadlines
