Your New Role
The ideal candidate for this role will take on a multifaceted position, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing a Construction Team: You’ll lead a team of five supervisors, ensuring efficient project management and adherence to timelines.
- Budget and Schedule Management: You’ll closely monitor construction jobs, ensuring they stay on track both in terms of time and budget. Your expertise will be crucial in material allocation, trade coordination, and project planning.
- Innovation and Skill Development: You’ll stay abreast of new build methods and programs, continuously enhancing your skills and contributing to the team’s growth.
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Upholding the highest standards of occupational health and safety on-site is paramount.
- Customer Experience: You’ll maintain excellent customer relations, promptly addressing any issues that may arise.
- Team Engagement: Creating a positive work environment will be essential to achieving optimal results.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, the following skills and experience are expected:
- Proven Construction Management Background: You should have experience in residential construction, preferably with a major volume builder.
- Construction and Product Knowledge: Your expertise in construction processes and materials will allow you to positively influence and lead your team.
- Experience with ClickHomes: Familiarity with ClickHomes is desirable.
- Commitment to Quality: From documentation to site finishes, maintaining high standards is crucial.
- Leadership and Skill Development: You’ll have the ability to lead and develop supervisors’ skills and capabilities.
- Convenient Location: Ideally, you’ll be centrally located to efficiently manage teams across both West and South Eastern suburbs.
