Experienced Contract Administrator / Contracts Manager required for Architectural practice

Our client is a locally based architecture firm, that operates across the Hotel sector here in Australia and overseas. A boutique firm, yet with a vast global reach, they provide outstanding design services.
Due to an increase in workload they require a dedicated Contracts Manager.

Your new role
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the contract management, to successfully negotiate and administer project contracts and protect the studio's interests, managing risks and liability. This includes working closely with the Project Directors to regularly engage with clients to understand their needs; prepare Project Fee Proposals/Variations; and oversee contractual obligations to demonstrate the client value proposition.
You will be responsible for solely the Architetural firms contacts, with of course no procurement requirements.
You will be the sole point of contact as the firms commercial delegate, and be highly client facing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 8 years experience with commercial management. You will have recent experience in similar high end designed building projects, Hotels, Fitout or close to will be advantageous. Strong experience in negotiating commercial contractual agreements and contract administration. Ability to deal with clients, being the face of the organisation.
- Strong client account management experience, preferably in an architecture or interior design environment. Assist the project teams in understanding and managing the contracted scope for their project.
- Experience in the contract negotiation phase as a relationship building and alignment process with with clients and external stakeholders.
Degree qualified in a commercial or construction related degree
