Brandsema International Services provides technical, coordination and commissioning services to large greenhouse projects all over the world. These turn-key greenhouse projects are engineered and produced in the Netherlands. After which they are built all over the world and fully installed with the latest technology in the field of climate solutions, water & electrical systems and all associated logistical equipment and systems focusing on sustainable crop production.
To fulfil our contractual obligations with Australian growers Brandsema International Services is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. Within your role you will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, commissioning and testing of the building projects. Furthermore you are responsible for the operational support for existing clients throughout their production process.
Your duties are;
- Technical supervision
and coordination of greenhouse projects according to drawings and specs
- Responsible for
building schedules according to contract
- Responsible for QA and
OH&S, ensuring all safety regulations are being followed/implemented on site
- Responsible for SWMS /
JSA / PRA standards are followed up as required
- Responsible for commissioning of horticultural/construction equipment
- Supervise all labour
works
- Prepare daily and
weekly reports
- Implement, monitor and
control activities of subcontractors
- Daily toolbox meetings
with subcontractor
- Weekly meetings with
client and subcontractor
- Check quality control
- Materials management
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of
relevant industry experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Knowledge of the latest
greenhouse technology, including Semi closed systems and HACo system
- Strong communication
skills both verbal and written (preferably English and Dutch)
- Ability to build strong
working relationships with clients, colleagues and all stakeholders
- Structured
- Solution-orientated.
- A flexible and positive
attitude. You will be expected to work approximately 38 hours a week plus reasonable additional hours as necessary to complete the work according to schedule.
