About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of projects within our client’s National Projects division. The successful candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and handover. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in project management, especially within the water sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Administer and manage subcontracts.
- Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performance team.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Certificate IV or higher in Project Management.
- Leadership qualifications are a plus.
- At least 5 years of project management experience in construction, ideally within the water sector.
- Experience in managing safety, quality, environmental, HR, IR, subcontractors, and financial reporting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Capable of working under pressure and adapting to change.
