About The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee and manage the construction and renovations for existing and future childcare centres.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Planning, organising, and coordinating the construction and renovations
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Overseeing contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Managing project resources, including labour, equipment, and materials
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact timelines or quality.
- Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and handover.
- Conducting regular site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure adherence to design and construction standards.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating project updates, milestones, and deliverables.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Builders licence preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, LEED, etc.) are desirable.
