Join us in making this happen with:A unique patient focused field-based opportunity in VictoriaExpertise in the field of OphthalmologyExperience in a commercial healthcare settingThe Patient Journey Partner (PJP) is at the centre of the Roche organisation. The PJP is an empowered leader and the Primary Point of Collaboration (PPOC) and the local face of Roche. You will partner closely with those stakeholders directly touching the Patient Journey (in a given therapeutic area or ecosystem), gaining a deep understanding of their needs in order to connect Roche’s capabilities, products and services to co-create meaningful solutions.Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Bringing the external in, working with partners to uncover all potential opportunities to transform outcomes for patients, faster.Acting as a trusted partner and the primary point of collaboration between ecosystem stakeholders and Roche; the PJP shares the needs of the patient and the stakeholder community internally.Partnering with Patient Journey stakeholders to identify roadblocks and unlock possibilities to deliver a shared value for the patients, the community and for RocheAdvocating Roche’s product/s from registration and supporting their quality use in a truthful and balanced manner to support potential solutionsApplying deep knowledge of the local, legal and Roche SOP frameworks to compliantly make decisions and optimise opportunitiesUncovering, understanding and validating both the patient and customer journeys in their entirety. Acting as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared purpose among stakeholders, including RocheIntegrating expertise to address “problems” with simple solutions and building partnerships through great experiences, whenever stakeholders in the ecosystem engage with Roche employees, products and servicesWho you are:You are someone with a strong passion to create value and impact on the ecosystem. You think from an Enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders, in order to bring best possible outcomes to both the local health environment, and more broadly, across Roche globally.You have:Healthcare professional qualification and/or university degree (life sciences) with practical understanding of digital innovation methodologies. An advanced degree in Life Sciences and/or MBA is a plus.At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with up to date knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and other relevant standards and guidelines.Ophthalmology expertise and experience would be preferredStrong capabilities in understanding and mapping patient and customer journeys and related treatments in the Ophthalmology area a plusRobust strategic understanding and experience in tactical implementation of health solutions, including an understanding of clinical researchWith strong business acumen, you demonstrate expertise in both commercialisation and a valuable customer experience. You are excellent in stakeholder engagement and management, including partnering with therapeutic area experts (TAEs) and other key stakeholders.You are good at formulating and orchestrating cross-functional strategies, you can ruthlessly prioritise. You are a strong collaborator and you have the ability to negotiate/find common ground (always with the best interests of the business and other people in mind).This field-based customer engagement role will cover the West-side of Victoria and is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Australia.We do not accept any unsolicited resumes or enquiries from recruitment agencies.
