Based in Melbourne's south-east we are a experienced commercial builder who specializes in local governmental construction. Due to our rapid growth we require a Construction Project Manager / Coordinator to join our Construction Team.
We are looking for a confident, competent and committed coordinator ready to hit the ground running.
As a Project Manager / Coordinator, you will be involved in the following:
- Working in a team environment using ProCore in conjunction with Cubit, Estimate One and Teams.
- Communicating with Trades and Suppliers are a required per project.
- Completing management requirements and producing accurate documentation within timelines.
- Cost management for materials and trades throughout the construction process.
- Attending Meetings with Clients/ Project Managers, Site Staff and other Stakeholders - Maintain open communication and relationships.
- Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
- Reporting to the Director.
To be successful in this role, the following skills are highly favored
- Current proven experience in Building, Construction Management or similar studies - Minimum 3 years experience.
- Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Understanding of Construction Drawings / Documentation i.e Plans, specifications and finishes schedules.
- Knowledge of the tender process and trade procurement.
- Take ownership and be open to feedback.
