CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGERS (MINING ENVIRONMENT)

About The Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring that works being performed on site are done so in a safe manner, and in line with the Clients’ and EMSs’ standards and procedures.

You will need to liaise with the Client, including communication and planning discussions, to meet with the Clients’ requirements.

Construction Site Manager 

• Demonstrated experience in client relations, subcontractor management, project management, and previous experience in a construction role 
• A distinct ability to lead the planning, organizing, and controlling of the project and construction of infrastructure requirements of both the company and the client
• Ensure that projects are running smoothly, efficiently, and on time
• An understanding of tendering processes and associated financial concepts
• Experience with a distinct understanding of how to add value and identify continuous improvement ideas both immediate and long-term
• Daily allocation of works
• Provide leadership and supervision to our crews on-site.
• Assist the team on the tools as required
• A keen focus on delivering workplace safety and sound knowledge of safety systems and processes
• Lead a systematic approach on completion of ITPs and quality assurance 
• Ability to use a PC for company & clients document tracking & processing 

About You:

• Coal Board Medical S4 or Health Assessment
• Standard II
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leading hand or supervisor position 
• Must have supervisor tickets (S1,2,3 / G1,8,9 and G2)
• Preferred experience working on a mine site but open to discussion.
