About the Role:
As the Construction Supervisor, you will be an essential part of our dedicated team, ensuring the successful execution of our projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. You will be responsible for the management and direction of the projects that allows for a perfect finish. This role is based out of our office in Numurkah and requires travel to various sites around North and North East Victoria.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of our construction projects
- Schedule and monitor project progress
- Collaborate with all trades, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Effectively communicate with clients
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes
- Conduct site meeting with clients and trades to ensure the project run smoothly
- Weekly reporting to the Construction Manager of project progress
- Assist with business development and implement new ideas
To apply for this position, you must:
- Have been a Supervisor, Foreman or in similar leadership roles in the building industry
- Have been in the building industry for a minimum 10 years and understand domestic building practices
- Be a great communicator and thriving leader within a team environment
- Have strong communication principles
- Have a current Construction Industry Induction card
- Have a very good understanding of OH&S requirements
- Proficiency in Project Management and IT software
- A valid driver’s licence
- Cert IV in Building & Construction is advantageous but not essential
