As the new FT Business Development Manager, you will be required to undertake and drive participant acquisition strategies aligning to our strategic intent of business growth within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. This role will take the lead with developing and maintaining effective key business internal and external relationships, which in return will create pathway channels for participants entering Scope’s suite of products.
This role suits someone driven but personable with a great passion for the disability services sector, target driven and comfortable with KPI's.
Your key focus:
- Build new connections and partnerships with community stakeholders and other referral services
- Represent Scope at community events such as Expo’s, community stakeholder or new business meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with Operational/Executive Leaders to understand acquisition needs for the business.
- Support the business to understand areas of opportunity within our existing offered Scope products
- Meet and exceed minimum KPI expectations across all key result areas
- Conduct ongoing market analysis across areas in which Scope operates, analysing threats to our existing participant base and put forth strategies to mitigate risk to the business.
- Develop and bring forth ideas and opportunities for new products.
What we look for:
- Leadership skills that will deliver collaboration, teamwork, empowerment and motivate staff to achieve service excellence
- An in-depth knowledge of the Disability Services Sector, services and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission Practice Standards
- Previous sales experience and sector knowledge.
- Proven leadership skills that will help deliver collaboration, teamwork, empowerment and motivate staff to achieve service excellence.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and relationship building skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Disability, Human Services, Business or on the job practical experience within a similar field.
