- Demonstrated well developed conceptual and analytical skills and ability to identify strengths, opportunities and approaches to building the capacity of schools to strengthen cultural responsiveness to Aboriginal students.
- Demonstrated well developed facilitation, negotiation and consultation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships within, and external to the Department, including with Aboriginal stakeholder groups and networks.
- Demonstrated well developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively and interact in a team environment.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
