If so, come and Make it Matter with us at The Project Lab. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team as a consultant in our Hobart office.
About the role

As a Consultant on our team, you are considered a specialist in your field, delivering high-quality consulting services to our clients. With advanced people skills, you combine your knowledge, skills, and energy to create valuable and relevant outcomes for clients. While continuing to develop your professional capabilities, you actively share your learnings to enhance the capabilities of your peers through our strong communities of practice, and mentoring processes.
Reporting to one of our Principal Consultants, you will receive guidance and support for your development, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our clients.
About you
- You are highly competent and can work well both autonomously and within teams. You actively listen, encourage others, convey reliable facts, and build rapport in difficult situations to achieve the vision. You are customer-oriented and have a strong commercial mindset.
- You're an established Business Analyst who is ideally certified in Lean, and/or Six Sigma.
- You have demonstrated experience in problem diagnosis and resolution, requirements elicitation and documentation, and solution evaluation.
- You are known for your ability to build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with team members, clients and other stakeholders with ease.
- You are a conceptual thinker with a real passion for visualising the customer experience and mapping the journey to continuously improve performance
- You have a strong understanding of process analysis, As-Is mapping and To-Be modelling using established techniques.
- You’re looking for diversity, and flexibility and can handle some ambiguity when it comes to project and work pipelines.
- You have a passion for giving back and thrive on the opportunity to work for a fast-growing organisation that encourages career progression and development, empowering you to reach new heights in your professional journey.
- You have the flexibility to travel and work on various client sites when required.
