Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in renewable energy solutions, with a focus on wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Our client seeks a skilled and experienced Consultant Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in wind, solar, and BESS, contributing to the design, development, and execution of renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical guidance on Electrical Engineering aspects of wind, solar, and BESS projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the development of electrical system designs, optimising performance and efficiency.
• Conduct detailed analysis of electrical systems, assessing performance, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to meet objectives and exceed expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
• Lead the development of solutions for grid integration of renewable energy sources.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to ensure safety and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings and proposal preparation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on renewable energy.
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects from conception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, grid integration, and energy storage technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional engineering registration or chartered status is desirable.
