The Organisation
This local health network comprises 12 rural hospitals and community health sites supporting approximately 70,000 people across the region.
The wide range of services offered includes accident and emergency, day and inpatient surgery, Aboriginal health, mental health, obstetric services, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, community and allied health, and aged care services.
The Job

• As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will undertake clinical and consultancy duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• You will have the opportunity to contribute to service development and expansion across the region
• Your duties will include providing obstetric consultancy via phone for GPs, participating in the after-hours roster on a regular basis and involvement in teaching and quality improvement activities
• You will have the opportunity to make a real impact by enhancing access to services for Aboriginal women

Requirements

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent
