Position Profile: PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (PLMWA) and the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) are looking for a suitably qualified individual to work across both Health Service Providers to deliver a comprehensive Clinical and Laboratory Paediatric Haematology Service.
This position is a combined service initiative between PLMWA and the CAHS. In this role you will need to provide a full range of diagnostic paediatric and adolescent laboratory and clinical services to the Perth Children’s Hospital and the wider WA community.
The appointee will have experience in both clinical and laboratory haematology and will have a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously as part of the team in providing a responsive, best practice, patient and client focussed service. The appointee will share each Department's commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and to applied research in haematology.
This exciting role is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment for 5 years at 64 hours (0.8FTE) per fortnight, 32 hours (0.4FTE) with PLMWA and 32 hours (0.4FTE) with Perth Children’s Hospital.
The successful applicant will be issued with a contract of employment from each Health Service Provider.
