The Project and
Infrastructure Advisory Team are industry leaders in the planning and delivery of city and region shaping infrastructure projects. Our team works with government and private clients across a range of sectors including transport, precincts, telecommunications and regional economic development. With unprecedented expenditure in infrastructure, our team needs to grow to support our clients.Your New OpportunityWe are currently searching for a Consultant to assist in the delivery of important projects. You will have the opportunity to work across policy and strategy, planning, business case and program/project management engagements for a diverse range of infrastructure projects in New South Wales.
Key responsibilities will include:- Working as part of multi-disciplinary teams to delivery project strategy and assurance, planning and project/program management services;
- Opportunities to undertake or learn business development activities including engaging with current and potential future clients and tracking potential engagement opportunities;
- Development and implementation of engagement pursuit strategies, preparation of proposals and managing tender processes;
- Sharing your awareness of the broader market environment and industry trends;
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners and broader industry;
- Contributing to team planning, development and maintenance of a high performance culture, including coaching and mentoring to support learning and development initiatives;
- Any other business development, project delivery and team management activities as required to support the efficient management of the team.
What You'll BringYou'll have tertiary qualifications in either engineering, town planning, transport planning, economics or other civil or social infrastructure specialisations is required. Additionally experience in project and/or program management and business case within civil or social infrastructure projects is important.You will bring with you:
- Strong collaboration skills having worked across multi-disciplinary teams involved in the delivery of infrastructure planning studies, technical reports and/or business cases;
- Technical planning capabilities in transport, urban/regional planning, economic development, and/or business case preparations;
- Well-developed report writing, presentation and spread-sheeting skills;
- Experience in managing or preparing program/project controls including budget, schedule, risk/issue, integration, quality, stakeholder management;
- Effective engagement and stakeholder management skills in complex environments.
