The Organisation
You will be serving the healthcare needs of the beautiful Barrington Coast, NSW. This health service offers a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, inpatient and outpatient treatments, specialist clinics, and mental health support. With 180 beds, including dedicated mental health beds, the hospital operates 24/7 for emergencies and maintains regular hours for other services.
The Job
- This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary service working alongside other Consultants, Junior Medical Staff, Nursing and Allied Health professionals
- As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide medical leadership in the Mental Health Service covering inpatient and community services
- You will be responsible for the provision of contemporary, comprehensive and professional specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence-based and patient-centred
- You will participate in and collaborate with high-quality health and medical research and in the translation of research evidence into everyday clinical practice
- You will educate and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate multidisciplinary students and team members

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
- Candidates within 6 months of achieving fellowship are welcome to apply
