About the role
Are you an organised and detail orientated individual looking for a role that combines rostering and administrative tasks? An exciting new opportunity awaits as a Fulltime Permanent Consumer Service Officer - Aged Care based in Townsville. The Consumer Service Officer - Aged Care will be working alongside experienced staff to help provide seamless support to selectability's older persons. selectability will assist you in every way throughout your employment journey, enabling you to become a valued member of our team.
The Consumer Service Officer - Aged Care's key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
development of rosters for all Aged Care staff
filling vacant shifts in a timely and effective manner
creating and maintaining master rosters in the electronic rostering system (TRACCS)
coordination of ‘buddy shifts’ for new and existing employees
providing training to staff on the use of the MTA app
provide support to the General Manager as required
providing information and administrative support to management as required
participation in special projects as required
About you
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
positive consumer focus and dedication to the team
demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and apply the Aged care and Nurses Award - highly desirable
demonstrated experience in rostering and/or similar knowledge of established work practices and procedures (highly desirable)
ability to maintain and exercise strict confidentiality
demonstrated ability to work in a professional manner
strong attention to detail and time management skills
ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
effective communication skills, both oral and written
strong computer literacy skills with intermediate to advanced IT software skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite
You will also need:
a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers’ licence
a currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive vehicle
a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)
a current yellow card exemption or an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate (visit https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au to access this free module). at completion of the course, you will be provided with a certificate of completion which you can forward to hr@selectability.com.au
About the offer
This is a Fulltime Permanent position based in Townsville.
