They are currently recruiting a PR and Content Specialist in a full-time capacity to support one of their large accounts, an industry leader in the Retail sector.
On a daily basis, you'll be responsible for:
- Crafting and executing cutting-edge media and consumer PR strategies, utilizing both traditional and digital channels for impactful campaigns, from media and socials to influencer engagements, PR activations, events, and product launches – you'll do it all.
- Forging strong relationships with local, national, and trade media, securing extensive coverage through proactive pitching and timely responses to media inquiries. Leading the charge in coordinating interviews, photo opportunities, and creating supporting materials.
- Collaborating seamlessly with client teams, contributing invaluable insights to elevate campaign success. Monitoring media coverage, tracking PR performance, and identifying and engaging potential ambassadors and influencers.
- Being the driving force behind PR events that captivate and resonate with target audiences. Staying ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends and industry news for strategic media and PR opportunities.
- Showcasing your expertise in issues management, providing strategic solutions, and ensuring high-quality, responsive client service through effective project management and quality assurance.
At least 2-3 years’ experience within an agency or retail marketing environment. Qualifications in Communication, Journalism, PR, or related field. Proven demonstrated experience in media and PR, having planned and delivered highly successful national campaigns, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector. Exceptional media writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage competing, time-critical priorities. Strong knowledge of media trends, outlets, and contacts, as well as the ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines.
