The position is based in Accor's flagship Canberra hotel, Novotel Canberra conveniently based in the city centre opposite the light rail. We are a 286 room hotel with 7 conferencing and event facilities hosting all events from Corporate groups to sports teams.

Currently, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Guest Service Agent to join Novotel in Canberra.
The successful candidate will have a love for delivering exceptional Guest Service and have an eye for accuracy. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, will be responsible for the following duties:
- Providing high standard of customer service at all times
- Attending guests’ phone calls, managing inquires, and check in & check out of guests
- Offering and promoting products/services to guests
- Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties where needed
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- A warm, friendly and engaging personality
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong desire to deliver high quality customer service
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a dynamic team
- Strong initiatives and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts / days
- PMS Opera system is a plus
