The Role
As our Content Specialist, you'll be the voice of our brand, responsible for crafting engaging content that resonates with our audience and reinforces our unique identity. From EDMs to website copy and promotional materials, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative and driving engagement across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Create high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs, industry trends, and marketing priorities to inform content creation.
- Research and stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
- Optimise content for search engines (SEO) and social media platforms to maximize visibility, reach, and engagement.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events to drive awareness and increase conversions.
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in content creation and management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, channels, and formats.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media marketing, and content distribution strategies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
