The Content writer is primarily responsible for communicating the brands identity, loyalty and personalisation propositions and encouraging engagement across a variety of communication touchpoints (including POS, print, web, mobile, video, and social media).
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing the copy so it's on-brand (informed by our brand vision, mission, values and personas).
- Writing copy focused on converting audiences to buyers and members
- Proofreading with an eagle-eye, edit and optimise copy. Outstanding grammatical skills
- Understanding the basic principles of marketing psychology and how to weave this into their writing, with the ability to generate punchy one-liners that are short, sharp and succinct copy that gets straight to the point.
- Being well organised, proactive and having a high attention to detail.
To be successful in this position, you have will have:
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as a Copywriter or blogger
- Experience working in the retail or loyalty sectors, highly advantageous
- Proven ability to manage an extensive workload and prioritise accordingly
- Exposure working for a large national brand with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with Electronic Direct Mail and/or CRM emails
- Intermediate experience in Excel and Word
