An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning and Development Unit at West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of Continuing Education and Support Coordinator to coordinate and Support the Undergraduate programs at WGHG on a 0.8 or 1.0 EFT (64 hours or 80 hours a fortnight).
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of Education and development services, including but not limited to, in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.

Our preferred candidate will have:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum five years post registration clinical experience
- Experience in student supervision/preceptorship
- Post Graduate qualification in healthcare, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education, or willingness to work towards within an agreed timeframe
- Experience of collaborative practice and the promotion of this within the workforce
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of Inter-professional Education (IPE) and Inter-professional Programs (IPP), or willingness to work towards
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
- Experience working in a public health environment
- Experience in clinical teaching
- Experience managing Undergraduate students and Graduate Nursing Programs
