The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) incorporating the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM), is an internationally recognised specialist medical education institution responsible for the training, examinations, specialist qualification, and Continuing Professional Development of all anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

About the opportunity:
The Team Lead - Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is responsible for managing all aspects of the ANZCA and FPM Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, ensuring all CPD participants are supported to achieve their CPD compliance requirements. Adapting and strengthening CPD offerings to remain the preferred home for fellows' Professional Development will be a key focus of the role.
This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Learning & Innovation Manager. You will lead the CPD team comprising of (1) CPD coordinator and (2) administrators.
You will be based at ANZCA House on St Kilda Road, Melbourne with hybrid, flexible working options available.

Specifically, you will have:
Essential
- Undergraduate degree in a discipline such as education, teaching, a health science, psychology or related industry or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Substantial experience gained in a professional environment, providing quality service to members / customer groups
- Experienced in leadership, development, coaching and management of staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels and across diverse groups, including clinicians, academics and management staff.
- Strong written communication skills, the ability to prepare accurate and concise reports, draft correspondence, newsletters and procedure manuals
- Excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner
- Well-developed planning and organising skills, including the ability to effectively handle conflicting priorities, establish timeframes and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills; the ability to problem solve member enquiries, source and analyse data, evaluate continuous quality improvement
- High level of digital literacy:
Intermediate to advanced level: Online data online data repository, mobile app and learning management systems (LMS)
- Aptitude to learn the in-house customer management/database system iMIS
- Experience gained in an education, medical sector, membership based or committee environment would be an advantage
- Experience working on online databases would be advantageous
