Contract Accountant

Role Overview:

Seeking a Contract Accountant to provide commercial / financial assistance for both corporate and site based operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background across both financial and commercial accounting functions, with some tax knowledge a distinct advantage.  Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA and knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous for this role. This role will report to the Financial Controller and will involve a broad range of accounting activities across both financial & commercial accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of fixed asset registers
• Handle site-based transactions, work orders, and settlements
• Utilize SAP S4/HANA for financial reporting and management
• Generate reports using Power BI
• Collaborate with the team in corporate and on site for reporting and other accounting activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and fixed asset management
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
