SalaryOur client is a Not for Profit organisation is seeking a talented Business/Finance Analyst to support the team, based in Brisbane's Westside.You will be a commercially astute finance professional with a hands-on approach and have the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to keep developing your career as the business expands.This is starting as an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend, best suiting someone who can start immediately.The RoleReporting to the Accounting Manager, the role will focus on:
- Conducting thorough analysis of large data sets to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and provide insights to management
- Building financial models using Excel
- Strategically partner with senior management regarding review of performance, evaluation of business practices and optimising opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Tertiary Qualifications in Finance & Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, within a complex commercial business
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience dealing with large data sets
- Strong excel & financial modelling skills
