Due to the expansion of the company's business sectors, additional Contract Administrators are needed to assist with contract management. We are looking for a Contract Administrator who can handle a diverse range of construction projects in the Commercial and Industrial sector, with budgets in the tens of millions.
As the company expands its operations into the Chinese market, the newly added Contract Administrators must be proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Your New Role:
In your new role, as a Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing the contractual aspects of projects. Your focus will be on ensuring accurate and efficient contract administration throughout the project lifecycle, fostering clear communication between project stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage in the production, development, review, negotiation, and variation of contracts including variation orders and contractual notices;
- Coordinate and produce client specification and colour selections in association with the building contract; Monitor project progress through monthly WIP and construction program reporting.
- Negotiate subcontract packages and oversee subcontract; administration; Respond to inquiries and resolve issues relating to contracts and services provided, and address concerns from affected parties.
- Managing the contract database and associated paperwork; assist with cost reporting and forecasting; Lead contract review and analysis processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise weekly with clients, consultants, construction contractors, Architects, Engineers, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met not limited to service connections, metering and disconnections (Electrical, Gas, Water, Telecommunications, etc.); Ensure weekly meetings with the construction team are documented and tasks are followed through to completion;
- Assist senior management on contract-related matters and implement their instructions; Monitor contract performance and enforce contractual obligations where required;
- Oversee work by contractors and report on diversions from contractual terms; review and manage contractual claims and variations;
- Prepare and review submissions and reports regarding the scope of activities carried out by contracted organisations.
Carrying out work in a safe manner and maintain a safe working environment at all times; Report any workplace hazards or practices promptly for corrective action or improvement.
