ABOUT THE TEAM
Our minor works division, GB Projects, takes pride in delivering exceptional projects in the fit out and refurbishment space. The division is growing rapidly with GB Projects tendering and winning more projects between the value of $1 million - $20 million across a range of sectors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Growthbuilt special works division, GB Projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will join the team from project commencement - letting out packages, managing contracts, and scope of works while also supporting project delivery to bring projects in on time, on quality and on budget.
Here’s what your day to day might look like:
Tender response evaluation
Subcontractor negotiation, selection and management
Certification and payment of Progress Claims
Finalisation of payments
Liaison with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers
Work within a third-party accredited Quality, Environmental & WHS systems
Guide and mentor our first year Cadet on a Contract Administration rotation
Using Jobpac, Payapps and Aconnex
ABOUT YOU
Degree qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
Ideally 3 years post-graduate experience in a Contract Administrators role within a tier 1-3 building environment ready to take the next step in their career
Excellent negotiation & communication skills
Strong attention to detail and experience in process and document control
Experience working on fit out and refurbishment projects to the value of $1-$20 million
Experience in façade cladding works would be viewed favourable
The understanding & ability to work on tenders and upcoming projects
Must have experience with Australian Standards & Building Codes
