About the role
We’re seeking a Contracts Manager (Concessions) to be responsible for managing all the obligations under the Concession Agreements, that support the successful delivery of the road operations, maintenance activities, tolling and retail customer activities.
You’ll join an innovative team, who focus on minimising related risk exposure, ensure compliance with all concession obligations to maximise network utilisation.

Day-to-day, you will:
Manage the interface between key internal and external stakeholders
Have a complete understanding of the Concession Deeds and supporting key principle documents
Identify concession risks/matters early
Establish and drive best practice governance of concession/contract management
Oversee the facilitation and support any audits
Oversee and assist the QLD Business with the preparation of all reports
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
A tertiary degree in Engineering/Economics/Commerce/Business Management/Law or relevant qualifications
Experience in the management of commercially complex arrangements
Project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Sound understanding of contracts and the initiative to seek timely advice on technical and operational perspectives
Excellent written, numerical and verbal skills to effectively communicate and influence stakeholder
