Role Overview:
Centacare Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administration Officer with a focus on payroll administration to join our Southport office team on a six Month Contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our dedicated Support Workers. This role involves overseeing the approvals of daily time and attendance of Support Worker shifts through the TRACCS program, as well as managing the bulk submission of payroll to the Head Office for processing on a fortnightly basis.
Please note that while this role is based in our Southport office, the wider administration team covers areas from Hervey Bay to Kingaroy, Brisbane, Darra, and as far as Beaudesert and Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve daily time and attendance of Support Worker shifts using the TRACCS program.
- Coordinate and manage the bulk submission of payroll to Head Office for processing on a fortnightly basis.
- Process the travel file for mileage claims accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the completion of Support Worker shifts and escalate any discrepancies for resolution.
- Provide ongoing support and training to staff on payroll-related processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth transition to the Alayacare Client Management system for payroll processing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar role within the community services sector.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems, with proficiency in TRACCS and/or Alayacare considered a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
