The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
This role leads the effective procurement and ongoing contract management function for the Specialist Courts and Programs Division of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. It is responsible for ensuring that a wide range of specialist procurement and contract management activities deliver value for Victorian courts and support identified program outcomes.
This leadership role will work effectively across specialist courts and programs teams to effectively translate service delivery requirements into contract outcomes. Working with a strategic focus, it will identify contract management strategies that maximise value, achieve scale efficiencies across courts and programs, and drive procedural compliance. In addition, the role will ensure the implementation of effective contract governance practices to drive performance and manage risk.
About you
Highly motivated and experience Contract Manager. Strong technical skills and ability to build and maintain a suite of contract management tools, processes and practices to produce meaningful contract management outcomes. You will be skilled at working with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders and negotiating successful outcomes across differing view points.
