Programmed Energy and Resources is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Contract Manager to join our team to run a large Mining Maintenance Services Contract in the Latrobe Valley.
The Contract Manager will deliver service excellence at a high standard, whilst maintaining a high commitment to safety through effective communication and consultation with our client.
About your new role:
To deliver service excellence to a contract through the effective management and monitoring of employee, contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure the delivery of all required works in a safe, timely and client desired manner, meeting Programmed Energy and Resources quality standards. Throughout the delivery of operational requirements, the Contract Manager should be reviewing all areas of operations, searching for opportunities to improve employee engagement and client satisfaction.
About you:
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve issues locally
- Actively developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- A can-do, positive attitude that fosters teamwork, and a genuine focus on our client’s needs and our people
- Demonstrated skills in risk management, hazard identification and a strong commitment to safety performance through effective communication and engagement of employees
- Strong People Leadership Skills with the ability to lead, coach and mentor team members into a high performing team
- Displays the qualities of a Leader in change and innovation
- A proven track record in Project Management, as well as operational and service management environments
- Maintenance Management specifically in the mining or conveyor industries is desirable
