AWB Co. is one of WA's fastest growing all trades companies, operating throughout Perth and Adelaide. We are registered builders, licensed electrical, plumbing and gas fitting contractors. Based out of Burswood, we operate throughout the Perth metro area.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our results orientated, friendly and supportive team. Reporting to the Contract Services Manager, this role will manage various contracts for service delivery in accordance with Contract KPI's & the client expectations of your role. This includes arranging all stages of project delivery including: Scoping and pricing, advice and guidance to client on scope, allocation of works and setting schedule, monitoring onsite safety and compliance, ensuring completion of works to quality standard, handing over project to client and then managing any defects of works.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Quoting of jobs as required by clients
- Overseeing the coordination and allocation of work to jobs you supervise
- Engaging and coordinating subcontractors as required to ensure they understand their duties, with focus on value for money and compliance
- Liaising with clients in relation to job progress
- Ensure works are completed and accountable
- Conducting tool boxes, pre starts and site inspections as required
Preferred candidates will have the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management or minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in project management and projects works
- Experience in managing an internal team and contractors.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver projects or services to required standards within agreed time frames.
- Strong safety knowledge and awareness
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to achieve strict deadlines
Previous experience in government contracts or a previous trade background would be highly regarded for this role.
