The Finance and Commercial Services Division is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Contract Support Officer to its Commercial Procurement Services (CPS) Team.

The CPS Team provides procurement and contract development services for all Department of Education (the Department) contracts valued at $50,000 or more. This includes the preparation of Request documents and the facilitation of tender evaluations in compliance and alignment with the .
The Contract Support Officer will support the CPS Team to undertake and complete procurement activities for the Department of Education. The Contract Support Officer will:
- Monitor the CPS Team’s centralised inbox, responding to or distributing client queries or support requests.

- Utilise and run pre-made reports from the Department’s Procurement and Contract Management System (PACMs).
- Be required to work in the office on Wednesdays.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
