ABOUT THE PROJECT
Growthbuilt’s latest project is located within Anglicare’s St Lukes retirement living village in the Illawarra suburb of Dapto. These luxury brand-new residential aged care facilities offer a home to 111 residents in private rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Project Manager and working from Head Office in Sydney (you should see the harbour views) or on site at Dapto, you will be responsible for letting packages, managing contracts and scope of works.
Our project is at the halfway point with completion scheduled for June 2024!
Here’s what your day to day might look like:
- Tender response evaluation
- Subcontractor negotiation, selection and management
- Certification and payment of Progress Claims
- Finalisation of payments
- Liaison with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Work within a third-party accredited Quality, Environmental & WHS systems
- Guide and mentor our first year Cadets on a Contract Administration rotation
ABOUT YOU
- 3 years experience as a Contracts Administrator working on new build projects to the value of $30 million
- Proficient experience systems such as Jobpac, Payapps, Aconex
- Strong experience managing trades and letting packages and progress claims
- Excellent negotiation & communication skills and stakeholder management
- Strong attention to detail and experience in process and document control
- Exceptional problem-solving ability
- Must have experience with Australian Standards & Building Codes
