About the role:
As a Contracts Administrator you will play a crucial role in developing, interpreting, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts on behalf of the organisation. In this position, you will be responsible for administering contracts in an effective and efficient manner per the needs of the organisation. You must ensure that all aspects of a contract are monitored or managed to protect both the interests of the employer and the other party to the contract, which could be another business, individual or group. You will work closely with management to identify areas where contracts can be improved or modified and work closely with legal staff to ensure that all parties adhere to the letter and spirit of the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support in the renegotiation of contracts, including gathering and reviewing relevant documentation.
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress.
- Draft and finalise clear and concise correspondence related to contracts.
- Manage a high workload effectively and prioritise tasks independently.
- Ensure ongoing contract performance by conducting regular costing reports.
About You:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance, payroll or a similar field
- Proven experience in a Contracts Administration role
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles.
- General knowledge of recruitment commercial matters, such as rates, payroll and financial obligations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the recruitment industry.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
