Due to growth we have an exciting opportunity based in Eagle Farm QLD for an organised and hands-on experienced Contracts Administrator or Manager to lead and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple commercial projects across a range of industry sectors.
Key tasks & responsibilities will include:
- Implement Bridgeman’s subcontract management system and lead the contract management function
- Contract preparation including the development of scope of works
- Reviewing variations, assessing and processing claims
- Project cost reporting
- Procuring suitable subcontractors and submit recommendations for the award of subcontracts
- Preparing variation and claims
- TPAS and Project Trust accounts
- Preparation of subcontracts, negotiation of terms and award.
- Mentoring junior team members.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder / contractor (commercial projects between $5m - 20m)
- Experience working for a tier 1 construction company will be highly regarded
- Prior experience working in Government Contracts & Procurement. A mix of both private sector and government work would be ideal.
- Qualifications in Construction Management or similar
- Strong commercial management skills including, interpreting and applying contract terms and legislation provisions.
- Prior experience with TPAS and Project Trust accounts
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills with experience dealing with a range of stakeholders
- A strong sense of purpose, integrity and community focus - alignment with our values
