We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Airports and Specialised Pavements business. We have been named as the preferred supplier for the Hobart Airport Upgrade Project and the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the efficient and effective administration of all commercial and contractual matters related to the project. ABOUT YOU
- A minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years' demonstrable experience in a contracts role on a project
- Ability to contribute to the preparation of contract claims and financial information
- Ability to interpret and apply contract terms and legislation provisions
- An understanding of document control processes and systems
- Working knowledge of typical construction contracts
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
KEY TASKS
- Support the commercial manager in the administration of the head contract subcontractors/suppliers including variations and EOT claims
- Support the project team with procurement as required
- Coordinate the review, approval and processing for payment of subcontract and supply claims
- Co-ordinate overall management of controlled documents for the project
- Assist the Commercial Manager in compiling monthly client and internal reporting packs as required
