Position Overview:
The Contracts Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contractual processes. This individual will be responsible for managing contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The Contracts Administrator will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments, to negotiate and finalize agreements that meet the needs of all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Compliance: Ensure that all contracts adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Contract Administration: Maintain accurate records of contracts, including key dates, terms, and obligations. Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the contract process.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, such as legal liabilities, financial implications, and contractual disputes.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline the contract management process and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience in contract administration, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
