There is a current need for Commercial Contracts Manager to join their Brisbane office. This is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who is used to working across multiple contracts and with key stakeholders.
The role
- Prepare and review tender packages for subcontractors;
- Monitor all aspects of the project to ensure compliance with the Contractor;
- Provide support and training to project teams with procurement, contract administration and risk management;
- Analyse, interpret and report results of contract compliance, including having foresight into when action may need to be taken;
- Analyse data, prepare reports and deliver insightful information for better decision making;
- Coordinate and facilitate negation of contracts;
- Ensure all deadlines and contract conditions are met;
- Ensure all client requests and interests are understood and met at a high quality; and
- Review subcontractors and insurance policies.
About you
- 7-10 years post graduate (Bachelor of Construction Management or Quantity Surveying) experience;
- Experience working within public sectors contracts in excess of $50 million;
- Extensive experience in the South-East Queensland construction market;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Proven negotiation skills; and
- Proven ability to follow instruction, perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
